CareScout Services for Families

Whether the need is for adult day care, home health care services, or facility care, you can work with a professionally trained Care Advocate who can answer questions and perform an objective needs assessment to create a service plan. Care Advocates have expertise in matching families with providers according to needs and wishes. Our CareScout services for families may include the following:

The Care Advocacy Program

1. Work with a Professional Care Advocate. Thousands of families have benefited from working with professionally trained Care Advocates who are available to answer care related questions, assess eldercare needs and wishes, and help determine an appropriate course of action1. Care Advocates can help families get peace of mind by locating and coordinating high quality, cost-effective services.

Care Advocates are professionals at helping families assess needs and find care. They are not sales or marketing professionals. The program fee is all inclusive and you will not be charged on an hourly basis so that you can connect on an ongoing basis during the service event.

2. CareScout Ratings® & Reports. CareScout was the first company in America to publish quality-of-care ratings on certified nursing homes and home care agencies. CareScout makes these valuable, proprietary ratings and reports available to you as appropriate to empower you with comparative information to make smart choices.

3. Comprehensive Database. Through a Care Advocate, families have access to the nation's most comprehensive eldercare database. CareScout's proprietary database of more than 90,000 providers includes nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult day health facilities, both certified and non-certified home care providers, and community resources.

4. Save Money. Private pay care recipients can take advantage of the CareScout Network of long-term care providers and provider relations program that may offer discounts on care. If qualified, our Provider Relations Specialists work to try to save your family as much money as possible on your care expenses.

5. Personalized Service Plan. A personalized service plan includes a list of local and appropriate care agencies, providers and resources. It also provides helpful tips and information such as questions to ask when you interview care providers.

Objective and Confidential Source

CareScout does not own, hold any interest in, or receive payments from care providers. We also do not share your personal information with care providers until you have asked us to do so.
