CareScout checks their licensure, financial health, operational procedures, staffing and training protocols, business practices, and more – so you get peace of mind and care you can trust.

Through the CareScout Quality Network, CareScout members enjoy:

  • Quality Care: Every provider in the CareScout Quality Network has met rigorous quality standards and is committed to person-centered care.
  • Preferred Pricing: Providers in the CareScout Quality Network offer preferred pricing to CareScout members. This brings you high-quality service at a lower rate than you would typically pay if you went directly to the provider. If you have a long-term care insurance policy, preferred pricing could save you money on services not covered by your policy, and it may help your policy benefits last longer.

Providers who join the CareScout Quality Network agree to offer CareScout members a discount off their standard private pay rates. In some cases, such as when an insurance carrier wants to make the CareScout Quality Network available to its policyholders, CareScout gets paid by the insurance carrier.


In other cases, such as when a family comes directly to CareScout, CareScout may collect a fee directly from the provider. In all cases, families and older adults do not remit a fee to CareScout. They’ll also typically pay a lower rate for care than if they went directly to the provider.


Preferred Pricing: Providers in the CareScout Quality Network offer preferred pricing to CareScout members. This brings you high-quality service at a lower rate than you would typically pay if you went directly to the provider. If you have a long-term care insurance policy, preferred pricing could save you money on services not covered by your policy, and it may help your policy benefits last longer.

No, providers do not pay us to be admitted into the CareScout Quality Network. They also do not pay us to be included or featured more favorably in listings we share with you. They must pass our rigorous quality standards and agree to offer preferred pricing to our CareScout members.
Your provider has agreed to send CareScout each invoice to verify that the preferred pricing has been applied to eligible services. After CareScout verifies that the preferred pricing has been applied to your invoice, the provider will send you a bill. You will then pay the provider directly.
You can receive a CareScout ID by submitting a form on our website or calling our Connect Team. Your CareScout ID is unique to you, meaning you can’t share it with friends or family. However, your friends and family can contact us to receive their own unique CareScout ID. If you misplace or cannot remember it, you can contact our Connect Team for help retrieving it.
