Aging with dignity demands that seniors be treated with the utmost respect. The aging process can lead once self-sufficient people to become dependent on others for their activities of daily living, which can be embarrassing and depressing. In caring for these people, we must address them directly, listen to their opinions, and do our best to keep maintain their independence and dignity, so they can "flourish" as much as possible while they age in place

Flourish in Place hires only the best caregivers! Our caregivers already have experience providing compassionate and professional care. They treat Flourish clients with respect, giving them the most independence possible, while creating safe, caring environments for them. Our caregivers enjoy engaging their clients, whether that means dancing with them in the living room or creating watercolors with them on the patio. They cater to the individual client's tastes, desires, and abilities. Every caregiver undergoes thorough reference and criminal background checks including fingerprinting, Level 2 background screening, certification of driving records, and drug testing. For added assurance, all of our caregivers are covered by an employee fidelity bond and by $4 million in general, professional, auto liability, and $1 million in worker's compensation insurance. Flourish caregivers are well-compensated employees with benefits. We withhold income taxes and pay all employer payroll taxes. Why is this important? Because many agencies in Florida are "nurse registries," not licensed home health agencies like Flourish in Place. When these registry agencies send homecare workers to their home, families often don't realize they are responsible for managing them, withholding taxes, and making sure there is adequate insurance coverage.

Our office staff responds quickly and effectively to clients and their families whenever questions arise. Flourish in Place provides person-centered care, which means we focus on the needs of the individual. Our RN spend time assessing and regularly re-assessing the specific needs of each client. Our human resources manager and recruiting specialist pay close attention to the scheduling requirements, social needs, and personality of our clients to ensure they find caregivers who are the best match for the client's care. During the entire process, the Flourish management team communicates with our client and the family to understand their concerns and address any questions they may have.
