Aging with dignity means allowing clients to maintain autonomy, respect, and the quality of life they deserve within their home environment, and without isolation. Our organization recognizes the importance in allowing clients and families to make personal choices regarding their care and lifestyles, and we respect those choices. We want our clients to feel valued, and to remain as active as possible, in a home and community which preserves self-esteem.

Our caregivers are...

Trained to provide in-home services with dignity, compassion and respect for every individual. Every caregiver is carefully screened by our Human Resources Department and must complete a comprehensive training program, criminal background check, CPR and First-Aid certification, and competency evaluation prior to receiving an assignment. Additionally, regular supervision and ongoing training is conducted. Our organization also trains caregivers in meeting special needs of clients, such as incontinence care, cultural diversity, specialized diets, and dementia/Alzheimer’s care.

The care we offer is unique because...

We have over 40 years of experience in providing in-home services and understand the unique needs of each individual. Services may be provided in a little as 2-4 hours per week, or up to 24 hours per day, thereby allowing clients to better customize services according to their current needs.

Our organization prides itself on person-centered care planning with a team approach. We strive to place the client at the forefront when developing an individualized service plan that supports positive control and self-direction. At THE MEDICAL TEAM, we aim to deliver care with compassion and respect within the client’s environment and daily routine. Care is personalized, in consideration of the client’s medical condition, social and emotional needs, and in accordance with any functional limitations. One of our goals is to allow clients to age in place, with care at home, where it counts.
