Mike was an amazing support for our parents and my brothers and I as we began our search for an Assisted Living home for our parents. Please understand that I just got started searching for a place for my aunt. Though I do understand the difference between assisted living and nursing home, I did not realize that nursing homes also provided memory care units. My aunt is not sickly...she's demented and will not eat food, take care of herself in any way or get out of bed. She claims she wants to but screams when the attempt is made. He also explained that we might be able to bring in a current caregiver to help with daily functions. Other folks simply recommend the places they represent and though those places might come close to filling our needs, they aren't really offering the amount of care my aunt needs. I honestly don't know where we're going with this, but I think at least I'm headed in the right direction.

When our family was struggling with the tough decision of whether and when to help a loved one move to assisted living - or to more intensive care (as her ability to live alone was declining rapidly,) we had no idea who might help guide us. My mother had the perfect new home within 24 hours! Mike is the most lovely, easy to speak with, honest man I have ever spoken to. Not pushy! Though I only got to work with Mike through the phone, he was absolutely AMAZING! My mom was denied entry to another assisted living facility. Mike jumped in and gave 110+% to helping me and my mother get through the process of getting to, selecting, and getting into another facility. Mike picked up my mother and planned visits to several assisted living facilities that he thought would be suitable for my mother (after getting to know her through his excellent questioning of me!) My mother said Mike was outstanding during one of the initial interviews at one of the facilities, as he helped think of and ask questions that she did not think to ask. Mike showed true care, support and professionalism throughout the entire process!
