Reviews of Danbury Woods in Cuyahoga Falls are overwhelmingly positive. Residents and families frequently praise the facility’s cleanliness, attractive and comfortable rooms, home-like atmosphere, and safe environment. Many appreciate the smaller size, single-floor layout, wooded surroundings, and the ability to transition between assisted living and memory care. Apartments are generally described as spacious, well maintained, and easy to personalize. Staff members are consistently characterized as kind, caring, respectful, responsive, and professional. Families value that employees know residents personally, use their names, communicate clearly, and treat them with dignity. Several reviewers specifically praised the nursing team, front desk, activities staff, kitchen employees, and individual leaders for their compassion and helpfulness. Activities, exercise classes, entertainment, outings, family events, and transportation for appointments are viewed favorably and contribute to a strong sense of community. Residents often report enjoying the food, social interaction, and friendships, while families feel reassured that their loved ones are well cared for. A few concerns were noted. Some reviewers felt staffing was too limited, nurses and caregivers were stretched thin, or employees were occasionally inattentive. Staff turnover was mentioned, and one reviewer criticized caregivers for using phones rather than assisting residents. Another reported inadequate room and bathroom cleaning. A few found the executive director less approachable, the dining area less impressive, or the facility somewhat small for activities. Snacks and drinks could also be made more accessible. Overall, the reviews suggest that Danbury Woods provides a warm, clean, engaging, and supportive living environment, with particularly strong marks for staff compassion, resident safety, activities, and individualized care.

Only Sean (van driver) is the best thing about The Terraces. Wanted to like it but had repeated trouble getting care for my loved one. A lot of disconnects and the place looks worn. Look elsewhere
