Chardonnay Assisted Living is an Assisted Living community in the Twin Falls area that also offers Memory Care.
Chardonnay Assisted Living is a senior living community in Twin Falls, Idaho, with a focus on memory care. Instead of one large building, its 43 beds are spread across three small, home-style residences, which allows a more personal, individualized approach to care.
Chardonnay cares for seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, along with older adults who need hands-on assisted living support. Caregivers help with medications and daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and hygiene. A registered nurse is on site during the week and on call 24/7, and each care plan is developed with the resident, family, physician, facility RN and administrative staff.
Residents live in private rooms and suites from 184 to 314 square feet, including options with full baths and kitchenettes. The flat monthly rate covers three dietitian-approved meals a day with snacks and drinks available whenever residents want them, housekeeping and laundry, scheduled activities and outings, video calls with loved ones, satellite TV and an emergency call system. A modern security system adds peace of mind for families.
The community sits right next to St. Luke's Clinic and Thomsen Park, so medical visits are close and staff handle the short trip next door. Chardonnay is a 2026 Times-News Best of Magic Valley Readers' Choice Award winner. Respite stays are available, and families are welcome to tour and meet the team.

Chardonnay Assisted Living receives mixed reviews from visitors and residents. Many praise the staff and owners for their dedication and care, describing them as wonderful, inviting, and going above and beyond. The facility is noted for being clean and more homey than hospital-like. However, there are concerns about privacy, as one reviewer mentioned having photos taken in a nightgown and clothes being stolen. Another issue is the policy of moving residents to smaller rooms if their financial situation changes and they go on Medicaid, which can be disorienting, especially for those needing memory care. The facility is relatively new and houses fewer than 30 residents, offering a more intimate setting. Rooms vary in size, with some having mini-kitchens and private bathrooms, though not all have showers. Larger suites offer more space and a private shower. Activities include crafts, puzzles, visiting groups, sing-alongs, bingo, and other group functions. The home is located next to a park, providing a pleasant view and outdoor space. Dining experiences are mixed, with some finding the food satisfactory. The dining area is small, with tables seating four to five people, though some residents choose to eat in their rooms. The facility is described as expensive, but this is common for such services. There is a perception of being slightly understaffed, though they meet regulatory requirements. Overall, Chardonnay Assisted Living is seen as a caring environment with room for improvement in certain areas.
