The reviews for The Springs at Lake Oswego present a mixed picture. Many reviewers praise the facility for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent customer service, and a wide range of amenities, including a pool, workout rooms, theater, and multiple dining options. Residents and their families appreciate the vibrant community, likening it to living on a cruise ship, with numerous activities and social opportunities. The staff is often described as courteous, kind, and supportive, contributing to a positive living experience for residents. However, there are notable concerns. One review highlights a safety issue where a resident in a wheelchair was found wandering off the property, and the facility's response was slow and uncoordinated. Another review shares a disappointing experience where a resident was not accommodated for higher-level care after a stroke, despite initial promises of comprehensive care. This situation caused significant stress for the family involved. Additionally, a former employee expressed dissatisfaction with their employment experience, citing issues with paycheck withholding and workers' compensation. Despite these concerns, many reviews still commend the facility for its handling of the pandemic and overall quality of care during residents' stay. Overall, while The Springs at Lake Oswego receives high marks for its amenities and community atmosphere, potential residents and their families are advised to thoroughly understand the facility's care policies and ensure they align with their long-term needs.

Beware, my husband and I were promised lots of care in assisted living and were willing to pay the “high price". We put down the deposit, were given a move in date, then hired a mover. We were all packed. We were then informed they were “understaffed and could not meet my needs" in assisted living. We had been successfully living in another assisted living facility, for 5 years. They are cruel, calculating and their staff are salespeople, meant to rope you in and then worry about “their bottom line." We are glad we pulled out in time. We can only wonder what kind of care we might have gotten. CEO showed no empathy that he had enticed us so far and then dumped on us. We had hired movers, given notice at our current residence, then they wondered why we were so upset! Beware, Beware!!
