The Lodge at Riverton has received a mix of reviews, with significant criticism highlighting severe management and operational issues. Many reviewers express deep dissatisfaction, citing neglect, inadequate staffing, and poor living conditions. Complaints include preventable deaths, theft, denial of medications, and unsanitary conditions, such as human feces in washers and backed-up sewers. Residents reportedly suffer from neglect, with some left in dirty diapers and others receiving inadequate medical attention due to a lack of supplies and staff. The facility is described as understaffed, with only one worker sometimes managing the entire building, leading to unmet care needs. Management is criticized for being unresponsive and focused on budget cuts rather than resident welfare. Despite these issues, some reviews note improvements under certain managers, with positive changes in staff morale and resident care. However, these improvements seem inconsistent, as management turnover is frequent, with four directors in a year. Positive reviews mention friendly staff, a clean facility, and responsive management, but these are overshadowed by the numerous negative experiences. Overall, the facility is portrayed as struggling with systemic issues, leading to a recommendation against placing loved ones there.

Wow, The Lodged at Riverton management is the biggest secret villainy. I've seen preventable deaths, temporary workers stealing from residents' rooms, and denying medications. One worker for the whole building, no med techs, disgusting meals from the freezer without a diet. I saw the air/hear broken for at least four to two months. Nothing to ease pain. Replacement of a washing machine and dryer took months. Human feces ruined the washer and dryer. Management replies, You clean it up." Rooms went months without cleaning. Complaints were ignored. Another, the sewer backed up into several rooms. The director said, "You clean it up; it is your apartment." One was a 97-year-old woman with a broken arm. The gull is they raised rent here, and the state has visited more times than one can count. The Lodge almost closed down. But the owners hired new managers. Nothing improved, only worse. Went through 4 directors in under a year. HUMMM OWNERS get a clue, it's your greed and lack of care.

I love this place and volunteer often only to see such sweet people who really love making the world a better place for their residences. The new management is amazing and the employees put residences care as definite priority. The activity coordinator offers activities daily and she has a variety of choices. The cleaning lady is adorable and keeps The Lodge spic and span, love it.
