We’ve gathered and summarized real family reviews from across the internet for you. Contact a CareScout representative for details.

Edgeworth Park at New Town receives mixed reviews from residents and their families. Many praise the facility for its beautiful environment, friendly staff, and engaging activities. Positive feedback highlights the compassionate care provided by staff members like Jennifer, Glenda, Indyah, and Sylvia, who are noted for their kindness and attentiveness. The facility is described as clean, with a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events. However, there are significant concerns about the quality of care, particularly in the memory care unit. Some reviewers report issues with understaffing, high employee turnover, and inadequate training for dealing with dementia patients. Complaints include missed medications, lack of proper hygiene care, and insufficient engagement with residents, who are often left watching TV. There are also reports of rude and unprofessional behavior from some staff members, as well as administrative challenges, such as difficulties accessing medical records and resolving billing issues. The facility's dining experience receives mixed feedback, with some praising the food and dining area, while others criticize the lack of meal variety and assistance for residents who need help eating. Overall, while Edgeworth Park is appreciated for its aesthetics and some dedicated staff, concerns about care quality and management issues suggest that experiences can vary significantly, prompting some families to seek alternative care options.

January 2025

Very disappointed with the care my parent received in the memory unit. Medications were often not given correctly or on time. Some staff were cruel and used harsh language towards the residents and their families. Once my mother was left in a bed yelling for help for two hours with little care, she was often left in soiled clothes for hours rarely being changed. Often having two or three depends on. My relative had Chronic UTIs, often monthly. Management did not listen or seem to care. I was often being dismissed and management failed to investigate the complaints properly. Very expensive for the care you receive. I was bullied by staff as witnessed by many friends that came to visit my relative. Mom was moved to a facility that charges 3,500 less than Edgeworth with much better care. There have been many complaints with the dept of social services about Edgeworth. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Please do your homework before moving them to this facility.
