We moved my father-in-law here last month. This facility is way better than his last place (Gencare) The care and attention that he gets here is amazing . Dustin is on it if you need any help with anything. The staff is friendly and they all have great attitudes. The rooms are large and don’t look like a hospital rooms - they are like an apartment. The accommodation and care are amazing, responsiveness is great, someone is usually there within a couple minutes. The food is better - that was a complaint he had at the last place. The grounds are beautiful and they a BBQ area. Nicole is amazing and I can’t thank her enough for taking the time to listen to us and answer all of the questions that we had about my father-in-laws cares and needs.

October 2025

Please do not place your elderly parent or loved one at The Gardens at Marysville. Our experience has been extremely disappointing and, at times, alarming. We moved our mother into this facility about a year ago and informed staff that she needed to be transferred to memory care as soon as a space was available. We were told she would be placed on the waiting list, and we were even given a tour of the memory care unit by the sales staff. Now, they are claiming that we removed her from the list because they decided she didn't need memory care—without ever speaking to us or honoring the medical and family input. One of the most troubling issues is safety. My mother is a smoker, and the facility backs up to a Fred Meyer store. We found out that she was walking there alone daily to buy cigarettes. We immediately requested that she only go out in the company of staff or a group, and were reassured this would be enforced. Yet, shortly after, my mother called us from Fred Meyer—alone again—

Terrible food high sodium and loaded in grease. Disgusting. I have to pack my grandmas fridge with heathy food so she can eat !

“The thing that has impressed me the most since coming to Warm Beach Senior Community is just that– it’s the sense of “community” that pervades this place. I see it repeatedly, on a daily basis, and it reminds me a lot of the way the earliest followers of Jesus related to one another, even before they were called “Christians.” — Chaplain Ike Timm Hope and enthusiasm come from a lively faith that is evident at Warm Beach Senior Community. With more than 35 years in the Free Methodist pastorate, Chaplain Timm is at the heart of a ministry which brings faith to the forefront in seniors’ lives. Residents’ faith comes alive through Sunday worship, either at the on-campus chapel service or at their choice of local churches. The spiritual life continues throughout the week with Bible studies and prayer groups. As residents give and receive love – through prayers, hugs, smiles and support – they are equipped to greet each day with anticipation of what God has in store. As Chaplain Timm says, “As we follow Christ together we all grow stronger in our faith, in our witness, and in our love for one another.” With God’s help, residents, staff and board members strive to be collectively a Christ-centered, people-focused organization.
