What families are saying

The reviews for Kings Reserve Willowbrook, formerly known as Elison Park, present a mixed picture of the senior living community. Many residents and their families praise the staff, particularly individuals like Miss Blanca, Issac, and Claudia, for their friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness. The community is described as welcoming, with well-maintained facilities and a variety of amenities such as a pool, fitness center, and resident lounge. The location is noted for its convenience, being close to shopping and medical facilities. However, there are significant criticisms, particularly regarding management changes and the removal of amenities like dining, transportation, and housekeeping, which were initially promised. Some residents express dissatisfaction with maintenance issues, such as lack of hot water and broken elevators, which are particularly concerning in a senior community. The frequent changes in ownership and management have led to inconsistencies in service quality, with some residents feeling misled about the services offered. Despite these challenges, many reviews highlight the community's positive aspects, such as the engaging activities, beautiful courtyards, and the sense of safety provided by the gated environment. The staff's dedication to resident care is frequently mentioned, although some reviews note issues with responsiveness and communication. Overall, while Kings Reserve Willowbrook has its strengths, particularly in staff interactions and community atmosphere, there are areas needing improvement, especially in maintaining promised services and addressing infrastructure issues.

We were looking for a place for our mom. We moved her in on September 1, 2024. Paid the $1,000 deposit, the $750 pet deposit, the $2,200 rent and then, a month later, we found out that they sold it and it was being turned into a 55+ community with no amenities. So now we have to do this all over again. Another move, another deposit, another pet fee. If we had been told this upfront, we would not have chosen this place. So disappointed.
