CareScout Community Score

Based on CareScout’s proprietary scoring.

The CareScout Community Score is calculated using our proprietary rating system, created to help families make well-informed choices about senior living options. This score is determined using a comprehensive set of criteria, including sentiment analysis of online ratings and reviews, user-submitted feedback on CareScout.com, completeness of the community profile, input from employees and local advisors, a community's contracted status with CareScout, and the frequency of visits to the community's website and location. Communities can earn a maximum score of 10.

indicates a community has a contract with CareScout, meaning we receive a fee from the community or an advisor, after a family has moved in. Contracted communities receive additional points toward their Community Score; however, it's possible for a community to earn a score of 10 even if they are not contracted with CareScout.

March 2025

I totally love the kitchen and laundry in the apartment. The meals offer everyone a variety, more than most independent living facilities offer. We toured 16 different facilities in the Seattle-Renton area. The Creekside was the Best for us. Our apartment is quite spacious. The only downside is that we have street noise from traffic when your windows are open. I have learned to run my air filters or a fan and I have grown accustomed to it.

Assisted Living

Any time you walk through the front door of Aegis Living Shoreline, you’re likely to see people gathering for music, yoga, or celebration. This is the modern approach to assisted living and memory care—sophistication with a genuine infusion of sunshine. When you talk to the people who live here, you’ll hear about the consistently friendly faces they see from their neighbors and care team. Apartments are comfortable and face into the beautiful central courtyard, anchored by a grand stone fireplace that inspires good conversation. Inviting common areas encourage residents to dine well, socialize freely, attend events, get their hair done at the salon, and enjoy a dressed-up night in the ballroom. This nature-adjacent community in the North Seattle suburbs is set in a peaceful and woodsy neighborhood—with an ideal walking route that passes by recreational sports fields, garden plots, and a pond. At Aegis Living Shoreline, we’re proud to provide a truly high level of care for each and every person. You are supported by nurses every day of the week. You’ll be amazed at the range of visiting care that can see you on-site: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, geriatric psychiatry, and a community physician. If you or a loved one have received a dementia diagnosis, we offer transitional assisted living, as well as our thoughtfully designed Life’s Neighborhood program at the adjacent Callahan House. We warmly accommodate couples with differing care needs and place in whichever community is the best fit. (Your pet is welcome, too!) Each part of the experience here is shaped by dedicated people who deeply care for your well-being. Every day is open to whatever you’d like, with the added comfort of whatever you need.…
