About me

Faith Bandklayder, Founder and President of Welcome Home Senior Services and Placement Company, is a proven senior living specialist with almost two decades of experience in the field of senior living placement. She specializes in supporting seniors and their families through the often-daunting process of researching and selecting a senior living community that offers the targeted social stimulation and care that they require, while also providing financial guidance. Her focus is on providing a caring and supportive ‘shoulder’ for her clients to lean on from beginning to end, with an emphasis on finding a community where seniors can age in place. Faith is an experienced senior living professional who has held multiple leadership roles in senior living communities in the greater Miami area. She has held management roles at The Palace Group, Sunny Hills of Homestead and Imperial Club. Her early role at The Palace gave her the foundation she needed to learn all about the industry and what it takes for a community to be successful. Faith has a reputation for her knowledge, high ethics, true compassion for the elderly, trustworthiness and ability to think ‘outside the box’ and find solutions that work for her clients.

Faith is amazing. I was overwhelmed trying to navigate through websites of assisted living facilities for my father. After visiting a couple of places and getting very frustrated, my wife found Faith on line and we contacted her to help us. She is amazing. With a few questions regarding my father's situation and what we were looking for, she was able to give me a list of properties to visit. The list was great, as it gave us a good perspective of what is available in the market. We were able to find an amazing community for my father. We were able to search and read through the Welcome Home information and found it very helpful. We were able to organize our priorities and decide what questions to ask at the visits. It was a pleasure to work with Alene Feinstein, the Senior Living Specialist from Welcome Home that assisted me in researching and finding a suitable ALF alternative for my dad. Alene was not only very knowledgeable and professional but she showed a deep level of understanding, empathy, and compassion for the difficult experience of having to decide to move a loved one away from their home to an ALF or nursing home. She patiently listened to my concerns with great attention and understanding and helped me not only accept our decision but finally understand that it was the best move not only for my father but also for our family. My experience with Ms. Alene was wonderful! For a couple of weeks, I was having difficulty locating ALFs in my area for my grandmother. From my first phone call with Ms. Alene, she was very pleasant and she made me feel comfortable and at ease during a time when nothing felt like that. Due to my difficult and unique job situation, I am not available by phone often, yet Alene continued to make efforts to speak with my about the process and my experience. Through Alene and Faith, I was able to find a place for my grandmother and we will move in next week. I recommend this service and the people that work in it! Thank you for all you do.

I initially contacted Faith in March 2021 to start exploring assisted living options for my dad (who has Parkinson's) and mom. I knew NOTHING about assisted living or how to go about finding an appropriate and affordable placement for my parents at that time. Faith patiently and thoroughly answered all of my questions and never required that I give her detailed financial or personal information about my parents that I was not ready to give. It took my parents 9 months to be "ready" to seriously talk about moving out of their home. During that time Faith let me know she was there for us, but did not inundate me with calls, emails or texts to pressure us to move forward. When we were ready, Faith had all of the info I had given her in March and immediately provided several appropriate (within our financial and care-need limits) placement referrals and set up tours for my parents and I. She was a supportive and amazing resource for me; not sure how I would have coordinated all of it from out of state without her.
