"I live on the independent side. This building is very poorly maintained has no ADA access, in fact it has ADA nothing, zero zilch. Food is just barely adequate. Laundry facilities aren't really free. Machines are always breaking from over use and stupid use. Place is crawling with a vermin. Zero landscaping and if I didn't water the grass it wouldn't be green" - Laurie…

Blossom Vale Senior Living

From $4,495/mo

6125 Hazel Avenue, Orangevale, CA, 95662
Assisted Living

"Blossom Vale Assisted Living Facility does not keep its word or honor contracts. We agreed to $500 for level one care. They raised it to $600, waved it to $500 then increased it to $700 All in 3 months. They have not reimbursed us. They did not return phone calls to rectify billing., They still owe us for overpayment. When she moved they did not say we owed any money yet charged full rent the following month after she moved and did not refund it all. What a rip off. They did not clean the room for so long that the toilet is black, Kleenex is all over the floor and her chair, newspapers and trash is all over. After complaining they removed styrofoam to go containers and that was it. Her sheets were dirty. It was hard to walk around which is a falling hazard for a senior and a health hazard with dirty Kleenex and trash. Their common areas are not regularly vacuumed as the walkways were dirty upstairs on my last three visits." - Lynae…

Sunrise of Fair Oaks CA

From $5,259/mo

4820 Hazel Avenue, Fair Oaks, CA, 95628
Assisted Living, Memory Care

"Please do NOT let your loved ones live at Sunrise of Fair Oaks. Yes, the facility is pretty but trust me to pls dig deeper: look at the "Activity board" in Memory Care and stick around a bit to see if ANY of the activities take place, because you will see they do not. Good luck understanding your monthly bill which, for us, changed monthly while our loved one's care did not. Don't bother contacting Edwin, the business manager/ coordinator about bills unless you're prepared for a rude response and a person simply lacking the interest/ expertise in getting his #s correct. Memory Care food is not nutritional nor nicely presented: lunch may likely be a tuna salad sandwich on white bread with Lay's potato chips, served on a plastic plate. YUCK." - Julie…

"I'm so grateful that my family was able to find me such a wonderful new home. After losing my best friend/husband I became very depressed and started having some memory loss. It was a very scary time in my life. My family started to worry and was able to convince me to give Senior Living a try. I could not be more thankful that I agreed to it with the help of my adult children. The staff here at Atria has become part of my family. They welcomed me with open arms and have helped me acclimate quickly. They really understand you and are always willing to go above and beyond to help you with things such as Transportation, Meals and Activities. I didn't want to leave my home at first since I had been there for over 50 years. It was not an easy decision for someone my age. Soon after moving in I met two sweet ladies that also enjoy making jewelry as much as I do and we have become very good friends." - Sharon…

"Don't bring your loved one here if they have Dementia!!! Our poor mother was here during COVID, the facility was under lockdown. This is why we didn't notice the neglect that our poor mother endured. She kept scratching and we mentioned this numerous times. We finally took her to the doctor only to discover she had scabies. They were trying to hide this from us. Her things were always missing. They would bring her out with someone else's clothes and shoes, along with the wrong glasses. We moved her to the Waterleaf at Land Park where the service was exceptional. They had cameras everywhere. There was no way a patient could walk out. I saw a patient walk right out of Fair Oaks Estates, the staff chase them down. On the day we removed our mom from Fair Oaks, they brought out her recliner with dried feces all over the seat. They knew we were coming and didn't even bother to clean her chair. I shudder to think of what else happened to her. I could go on and on, I think you get the picture." - Kelli…

"Welcome to my review of citrus Pines senior living I have been living here a year I came in with a fractured hip and some other illnesses They provide personal attention Around the clock care. And with only six beds, they make sure you have one on one response. Where some facilities may just provide a bed. Citrus Pines encourages socialization, entertainment, and are interested in you and your family The main reason I wanted to leave my review today is that my doctor gave me great news in that I do not have to take insulin anymore. I’ve been a diabetic for many years and never thought I would be off But with their care here and my diet I am now insulin free I look forward to your visiting our facility.
