I toured this facility I found it quite nice and had a homely feeling to it. I would have chose this place for my dad but he needed a higher level of care.

Overall, reviewers describe The Forum at the Crossing as a welcoming, attractive, and well-managed senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and respite options. Residents and families consistently praise the kind, patient, responsive staff, who are seen as genuinely caring and willing to go beyond expectations. Many highlight strong communication, smooth transitions, individualized support, and a warm, family-like atmosphere. Staff reportedly help new residents adjust, find meals and activities, make friends, and feel at home. Food receives particularly frequent praise for its quality, variety, and presentation; dining staff often learn residents’ names quickly and accommodate preferences. Reviewers also appreciate spacious, comfortable apartments, private memory-care rooms, libraries, gardens, fitness facilities, activities, entertainment, transportation, and on-site services. Families value the continuum of care and report positive experiences in memory care, including compassionate dementia support and meaningful programming. Several residents say they have made friends and enjoy greater freedom from homeownership responsibilities. Still, some concerns appear. One reviewer saw a cockroach in a resident’s kitchen. Others mention aging interiors and a need for refreshing, recurring heating and air-conditioning failures, and occasional housekeeping problems during a norovirus outbreak. Rehab and nursing feedback is mixed, with complaints about late medications, unanswered call buttons, limited physician availability, and insufficient cleanliness. Staff turnover is also noted. One reviewer criticized admissions communication and another raised visitor security concerns. Despite these criticisms, the dominant impression is highly positive. Families repeatedly recommend The Forum, describing it as a safe, supportive, engaging home where residents are respected.
