"Silvia and Tony are truly amazing people. After two years of searching on our own, we were close to losing all hope of bringing my dad back home from South Orange County to Santa Monica. Then, about 2–3 months ago, we met Silvia and Tony. Silvia alerted us to a promotion at Brookdale Ocean House in Santa Monica—a property we hadn’t even considered. With just one call, she set everything in motion, and within six weeks, we went from little hope to overwhelming joy. My dad has been at Ocean House for a month now, and he’s never been happier. The move has completely transformed our family dynamic—we now see him every two or three days instead of every two or three months. My kids, my brother, my wife, my dad, and I are all thrilled with this new chapter. Thank you, Silvia and Tony, from the bottom of our hearts. None of this would have been possible without you." - Kevin… Read more

"I recently stopped by Belmont Village to visit my aunt who recently moved there. My cousins had had a hard time finding somewhere close, affordable and that seemed like it had good care and this was one of the few places that met all three categories (though to be fair, it seems like assisted living is just expensive all over). I was so impressed with the community - it looks more like a high end hotel than a senior living community. We had lunch outside at the pool and then I got the tour - a very pretty place all around!" - Isabel… Read more

"Do Not Trust Ivy Park Playa Vista My family and I are deeply dissatisfied with Ivy Park Playa Vista. After two years of my father living there, we ultimately had to remove him and transfer him to another facility. Following our departure, Ivy Park continued to charge us, even drafting funds directly from our bank account without authorization. I am appalled by the lack of care and integrity we experienced. My father was enrolled in the Memory Care Program, yet he did not have the mental capacity to communicate the disturbing realities of his care—or lack thereof—that I later uncovered. It became painfully clear that both he and many other residents were enduring unacceptable conditions. The facility is chronically understaffed, a problem that has persisted for years. Despite the efforts of a few dedicated employees, even they began leaving for other facilities because the environment was simply unsustainable. Since January 2022, staff and administrators have turned over constantly." - Lorenz… Read more
