What families are saying
We’ve gathered and summarized real family reviews from across the internet for you. Contact a CareScout representative for details.
Whitetail Springs Assisted Living and Memory Care receives overwhelmingly positive reviews for its cleanliness, beautiful and spacious accommodations, dementia-focused care, and compassionate staff. Families frequently praise the community’s knowledgeable employees, low resident-to-staff ratio, attentive care, and ability to keep residents clean, safe, engaged, and involved in meaningful activities. Many reviewers highlight the secure, one-floor layout, enclosed outdoor spaces, sensory room, motion sensors, and strong focus on memory-care needs. Residents reportedly enjoy varied activities, social opportunities, gardens, and good-quality meals, with staff often accommodating dietary preferences. Families also appreciate regular communication, support during transitions, and compassionate end-of-life care. Several reviewers describe Whitetail Springs as one of the nicest or best memory-care communities they have encountered and readily recommend it to others. However, a few reviews identify significant concerns. One family reported that a resident with dementia left the building overnight unnoticed, walked along a busy road, and was found only after police intervention, raising serious questions about nighttime supervision and security. Another detailed review described inconsistent communication and care practices, including delayed recognition of stroke symptoms, difficulties assisting with feeding during COVID restrictions, concerns about room assignments after possible exposure, and lost dentures. That reviewer also cited inconsistent attention to hearing aids and dental care, though they acknowledged that many employees were kind and the facility was exceptionally clean. Management reportedly addressed the concerns. Overall, the community is viewed as attractive, clean, well maintained, activity-rich, and particularly suited to dementia care. Most families feel their loved ones are treated with dignity and receive excellent support, though experiences suggest that communication, consistency, and overnight monitoring should be carefully discussed during tours.

There are a few facilities to choose from in pacific heights. Ivy Park is good because it is rental month-to-month and doesn't require a large buy-in fee.
