One day he was fully normal and the next day he was paralyzed. Within a period of 2 months he was in the hospital 5 times, in 3 different acute care facilities each time he left the hospital. When he was finally deemed unable to stay in post-acute facility, I found an assisted living facility the left him with bed sores and poor maintenance of his catheter in the 3 day stay. It was a nightmarish experience. The Home Health nurse told me to get him out of there and recommended PRN 2. The care that he received from Linda Hu, Roshni, May, and Simon Lu was outstanding. They took loving and gentle care of him when I could not, as much as I wanted to bring him home. They constantly rotated him, adjusted his pillows, and made him as comfortable as possible.
