The staff is very supportive and caring. The memory care is staffed and very friendly. I've worked with this community for a long time and everyone from sales to concierge walking in has been easy and supportive.

The reviews for Addington Place of Alpharetta present a mixed picture of the facility. Many reviewers praise the community for its friendly and compassionate staff, clean environment, and engaging activities. The new management under Chapters Living is noted for bringing positive changes, with a focus on resident-centered care and strong communication. Several staff members, including Ruby, DeMarre, and Sandra, receive specific commendations for their professionalism and dedication. However, there are significant concerns raised by some reviewers. Issues such as medication errors, understaffing, and unlicensed personnel administering medication are highlighted. Some residents and their families report negative experiences with the executive director, citing poor communication and a lack of empathy. A few reviews mention a steep increase in rates, which has caused financial strain for some residents. Despite these challenges, many residents and their families express satisfaction with the care provided, noting that their loved ones are happy and well-cared for. The facility is described as having a welcoming atmosphere, with residents forming friendships and participating in various activities. Overall, while Addington Place receives praise for its caring staff and community feel, there are notable concerns about management practices and service consistency that potential residents should consider.

Moved in June 11 2024. I've read other reviews of bait and switch, which is certainly spot on. Med errors, injuries not reported or documented, meds 2.5-3 hrs late daily, services promised not held up, pendant response times are often 1 hour, ac broken for 3 days-room 83% and no one said a word! Care staff stealing bed pad and pull ups. Care staff supposedly made a maintenance request but that was not true. Huge staff turnover, 1 good med tech, tactless staff. I have a camera in the room and all events are recorded. I highly suggest anywhere you choose you place cameras. Too many issues to list. Complain too much and you will get your walking papers with the good ol care needs exceed level of care excuse. It's convenient- that is the only good thing.

This community has great care, especially for seniors that have limited mobility. The activity director, Kelly, is amazing. You cannot find a better activity program… she is on top of it! They are a family owned company and respond to concerns and ideas quickly. They have a wonderful team in place at any community you could walk into in Atlanta. In fact, I have moved many clients into their wonderful communities. They do a lot of intergenerational activities with their residents to keep them feeling in touch with the local schools. This gives seniors the oppurtunity to give young children great advice and love!
