"Belmont Village Johns Creek is a mixed bag, but I'd still give it four stars. The place is clean, and the staff are friendly and quick to help out. They're pros, caring and always there for you. The grounds are beautiful too. But, some folks say the apartments are too small and it's hard to meet people. There's worries about meds and extra costs too. Food's mostly good, like fine dining! Plenty to do to keep busy, and staff love it here. Still, some worry about management. Overall, it's recommended for the caring staff, great food, and activities. "Celebration Village is a beautiful facility, and the building itself is well maintained. Unfortunately, in my experience, the quality of care has declined over the years. I have personally experienced poor communication, difficulty reaching management, and concerns about staffing. There seems to be frequent staff turnover, and I’ve observed a lack of consistent leadership, particularly in the memory care unit. It is often difficult to get in touch with a director or receive timely responses when concerns arise. I also found interactions with the Director of Nursing to be unprofessional and disrespectful. My experience was that staff were not always treated fairly or with respect, which contributes to the high turnover. A positive workplace culture is essential when caring for a vulnerable population, and leadership sets the tone for the quality of care residents receive. This facility has tremendous potential. "I strongly suggest you stay away from the Mansions at Alpharetta!! The Mansions consistently raises rent, even when they go weeks without housekeeping because they are so short staffed! It NEVER smells clean after they leave. I wouldn’t be surprised if they cleaned with water to cut costs. Coupled with the food which was so sub-par it defied definition! There was no consistency, the menu did not provide sufficient fruits, vegetables, and daily nutrients--and was completely unacceptable. The portions were meager, and my mom has lost a tremendous amount of weight. The Mansions is consistently under staffed. It’s a revolving door. They have an inability to hire, train, and retain employees! It’s someone new each week which says A LOT about a company in whole. There was no protocol in place when a fire alarm went off one night. "The Arbor Terrace of John's Creek is one of my very favorites. They have some of the best programming for memory care. I love their “Bridge Program,” because it makes this community perfect for loved ones with beginning to mid stage dementia or Alzheimer's. Residents are evaluated on a Gem level/scale of behaviors and capabilities… Which makes it easier for families to understand the journey that their loved one is going through. It's not only a beautiful presentation, but their hearts are in the right place! "Toured recently with my mother and we both were very impressed. We were greeted by a friendly Valet staff member and escorted into the spacious lobby with beautiful decor and a large waterfall. The sales team member was informative and inspiring, as we toured several apartment styles and a multitude of floors with various amenities! Mom loved the rooftop pool and gym! I loved the 18th floor sky lounge. Several groups of residents were assembled there interacting with each other in card games, music, and a book club. Very impressive. The icing on the cake for mom was the lovely garden area and dog park. Pets are welcomed and she was thrilled to know she can bring her poodle. I can share that the pricing for the 1 bedroom apartment we saw was comparable to her home but with so much more included! "We moved to Village Park Alpharetta for an independent living in Sandy Springs. I am a caregiver for an elderly lady and needed help so I could go home at night. Village Park is wonderful! They worked with my schedule and went out of their way to do things the way we were used to so that the move would be easier.
