"It has been difficult for my mother ever since she has moved into this facility in 2024. There have been several MAARC reports filed on the staff for not delivering her medications within the allowed state guidelines. 1.) staff have lost her medications and lied about the number of medications that she is supposed to take in the mornings. (thank goodness my mother has a good understanding of what meds she needs to take otherwise she could be dead) 2.) They do not complete her laundry in a timely manner. 3.) They have a difficult time keeping staff and as result no one is on the same page. 4.) I was called when my mother fell on one occasion, she was having delirium and was asked if it was okay for the staff to call 9-1-1. This place is not a place that i would recommend at this point. There is a new Director of Nursing who seems to be very different than her predecessors and I am hoping for my mother's sake that her service and care improve otherwise removing her is our next step." - S.… Read more

"Memory care area lacks programming in the afternoon and evening. Residents are left to their own after dinner to wander around and basically watch TV. The afternoon programming is also sporadic. There are only two caregivers for 14 residents on each floor. These caregivers are often in the rooms of residents who need extra help toileting, dressing, or transferring, so the other 12 just wander around or watch tv. They also use a lot of agency caregivers who don’t know what they are doing.(unfortunately this is true in most facilities because of staffing problems) The facility is very nice, the food is good, and the staff is friendly and caring when they can be found. This is a good place for people who have memory issues who are passive and just go along. It is also a good place for people who have their faculties but have physical disabilities and need lots of help.
