Great curb appeal and the common areas are kept clean. Day #1 Mom called crying saying she had been pushing her call button for an hour and a half and no one came to help her out of bed. Have had several problems with doctors' orders being received. Bus transportation has to be arranged at your own expense if their bus has mechanical problems. MedTechs often work double shifts and quite often they are short staffed. I had two ombudsmen that were able to help me get the on-site nurse from continually contacting their medical provider and running up expenses for visits and supplies when we kept Mom's own medical providers. Be sure to arrange to eat a meal during your visit so you can assess the quality of the food. I would also suggest asking what the scheduled activities are. The aides who actually provide the care for my Mom have been caring and compassionate. Facility does not permit cameras. The facility has only 1 nurse on staff.
