A landing is where loggers stage the trees after they are cut down before they are transported to the saw mills. Roseburg has traditionally been a lumber town, Oregon in general has been a lumber state and known for logging and that industry, so we felt that “The Landing” was an appropriate reference to the legacy of Roseburg.

"Cascades protected my mom from my deranged sister to the very end and went above and beyond in every way.
