"We looked at this home for my husband’s aunt, Connie was fabulous, very knowledgeable and welcoming, we heard she’s no longer there which is sad for those who remain. During the tour, we couldn’t help notice how unprofessional much of the staff was, they appeared argumentative & observed many sitting around and not interacting with other residents, also short staffed for the size of the building. The interior was tired, desperately in need of refresh. We also heard many complaints about food. The ED seemed flustered and the sales person was not of the professional caliber we’re used to. Activities appeared nonexistent, especially in the memory care. In the end we decided to go elsewhere. A shame as the location has much potential, they just don’t have the team it make it happen. Throughout Abe's battle with Alzheimer's, the idea for Abe's Garden Memory Support Center of Excellence began to take root.
