The last review is from 4 years ago. Not even the same owner. The existing owner, owns 3 houses. Collinfield, Shady Trails and Millhouse. My loved one was in Shady Trails, the newest of the 3. The meals were really bad and most of the time not a well balanced meal. The caregivers cooked the meals and if they weren't good cooks then you usually got warmed up leftovers or frozen pizza, or the favorite of the cooks was soup and crackers. Wasn't surprising not to have a vegetable or meat on the plate. The owner listened but after many conversations I could tell it was just listening, no action. My dads day to day care was always in question. Training for hearing aids, oxygen machines were at a minimal. Small isn't always better.

Austin Gardens Senior Living Consists of Two Homes: one 5 Bed and one 7 bed, all private suites with a huge shared backyard Our Story Care Homes are boutique assisted living homes that provide exceptional, high quality 24/7 care, delivered by experienced staff with decades of experience. After searching for places for her own grandparents, our founder, Raffi Sapire became discouraged by how much senior housing costs and how little you get for what you pay. She created a personalized, beautifully designed, friendly and affordable alternative to the large big-box facilities. There's no cafeteria style food; we make food in the kitchen. Your pets are allowed, we know that pets make people happy. There's no community fees or long term commitments. You can stay for one month or one year. Each home is influenced by and created for you. In narrative form: As older adults age, family often bring in informal or formal help in the home to help with daily tasks. Sometimes we need help with meals, housekeeping, and basic hands-on care. Eventually, many folks hit a point where they're having more and more help in the home. Home care is great initial option, but it can be isolating and overwhelming to have so many new people in your home. Not to mention, costs can creep up to the thousands per month. Traditional assisted living in a facility isn't a great alternative. 70% of older adults want to stay home as long as possible, so moving into an institutional environment is out of the question.…
