22199 Center Ridge Road, Rocky River, OH, 44116
Assisted Living, Nursing Home, Board and Care Home

"Please do your homework before placing your loved one at The Welsh Home. The Welsh Home might be fine for short term rehabilitation, but not for the long term. This is especially true if your loved one has memory issues. Mom was a resident for two years. At the time of her death, I was looking to move her to a different facility. Nursing care basics like dental hygiene was basically non existent. Mom's dentures were never taken out to be cleaned. Mom suffered several gum sores because of this. Once addressed with administration, they would occasionally be taken out but then I'd find mom with no teeth in. I would visit in the afternoons so this meant she ate breakfast and lunch with no teeth. What a horrible choking hazard. I have several emails with the administration regarding this and the response that I would receive was "we will reeducate our staff". I regret my decision to place mom at The Welsh Home." - Margaret…
