Franke Home at Seaside

1885 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC, 29464
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living, Nursing Home, Continuing Care Retirement Community

"This review is in regards to their rehab facility, the Keil Healthcare Center. Pros: Food itself is fantastic. Restaurant quality for certain. Facility is clean. Cons: The staff have horrible attitudes. Staff have no problem violating the rights of patients. They do not follow requests or listen to patients or their families when requesting specific care. They use forceful handling when possible. They do not follow proper dietary guidelines or take notes on what a patient can, can’t, will, or will not eat. Staff also ignore serious issues in patients, including but not limited to, repeated vomiting, pain, poor hygiene, symptoms of pneumonia. They also do not record all of what goes on in their daily charts, as they are supposed to do. There are other things to mention. Unfortunately, this website only allows so much space to type it all out." - Rachel…

1 Still Hopes Drive, Cayce, SC, 29033
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living, Nursing Home, Continuing Care Retirement Community

Our rich history began in the early 1800s when a surveyor, John Gabriel Guignard, was hired to survey the newly established capital city of Columbia. He built a plantation here and named it Still Hopes. In 1910, Gabriel Alexander Guignard, his son, erected the Victorian mansion that now remains as the focal point of our beautiful community. It wasn’t until just over 50 years later, his daughter, Dr. Jane Bruce Guignard, bequeathed the plantation and its acreage to the Trinity Episcopal Church with a vision for it to serve the area’s seniors. Her vision became a reality in 1977 when the Episcopal Church and a Board of Trustees established the non-profit community we are today. In 1983, the Guignard Victorian mansion was added to the National Register of Historic Places. Still Hopes is now the only Episcopal-sponsored, all-inclusive, non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community in the greater Columbia, South Carolina area serving 400 residents with over 400 staff members for a personalized and compassionate method of care in a warm, inviting, and engaging home. Since opening, Still Hopes continues to strive for the well-fair and health of the greater community, serving others with our Still Hopes at Home program, Wellness Center open to the public on campus, and much more. Contact us for more information on our community services on campus and beyond. Our Mission To provide a faith based community where life will be rich and full as God intends it to be, holding to our values, serving one another with dedication and promoting health and wellness for all.
