There is not a staff person there who my family has not felt was personally engaged in accommodating the residents. "I am the brother-in-law for one of the Assisted Living residents at Grand Court Mesa. Since an unfortunate fall by our loved one early in 2024 while in independent living, we moved her to the hospital, to the rehab center and then to a care home for several months. At the care home, with which she was desperately unhappy with the care team and her accommodations in a shared room, she was visited by Denise Jacobelli, the nurse practitioner from SCAN. Ms. Jacobelli recommended to us that for about the same monthly cost, my sister-in-law could move into Grand Court Mesa Assisted Living. After reaching out to Grand Court's Community Liaison, Rachel Thrasher, we quickly determined that she could move into their Assisted Living for a marginal amount more, given her situation, and in her own apartment!
