The Barrington refused to allow him back unless he was disconnected from the medical machine needed to drain fluid from his lungs. This decision forced my family into an impossible situation and caused my father immense suffering in his final days. No family should ever have to make a choice like that simply to allow loved ones to be together at the end of life.
