"Discovery Village was the right choice for my Dad. He was in three other facilities prior to Discovery Village, all of which boosted strongly of great amenities with professional care. However, when it was most crucial, there was no consistency, leaving my dad in a bad situation. This quickly became their standard practice. One facility even went as far as saying doctors advise by removing him, form their facility could be considered a form of abuse. I don't think they were completely aware that I was visiting daily and watching the treatment they were giving my dad. I moved him to Discovery Village. It was the best move of my Dads senior life. Within a week of eating good food, nurses actually interacting with him, and they brought him from completely giving up on life, back to life. My dad was talking again, even playing catch with the nurses.
