"My dad lived there for 11 years. He went from 185 pounds to 269 with the wrong diet. They say they serve nutritional meals they do not. They feed diabetes straight sugar. He has fallen numerous times and did not report it to us. One of the staffed called and she was threatened to be fired if she did it again. His falls resulting in several hospital stays in his years at oakwood, including broken bones. He begged the nurse for his medication and was denied when his bloodsugar was over 300. We had to drive out and check on him. They also refused to take him to the hospital or doctors office. If you question the staff you get yelled at. There is no privacy as they just walk in your rooms. That has happened several times to the point we had to get a camera in place because they said my father was lying. We also caught the staff sitting on the side of the sofa in my fathers apartment. The staff will also sit in common areas and watch TV or play on there phones. Run." - michelle…
