"As the daughter of a resident living at Aspenwood Senior Living Community, I can confidently say that it is an excellent place for seniors to live. The staff are friendly and attentive, my dad loves the food, and there are plenty of activities to keep residents entertained. He has quickly made friends there and loves all the amenities available (billiards room, movie theater, etc). The executive director is very supportive of the staff and always willing to help out with any of our concerns. Overall, Aspenwood has provided my family with an incredible experience that we are thankful for." - Rhonda…

"They cannot keep senior managers for more than a year. No explanation was given as to why they are unable to keep staff. It’s ridiculous that every three months I go up to visit and there are new people to meet in the front office. This a very big concern to me. I wish someone would give the residents an explanation. The variety of food has a lot to be desired. Need to cut out the salt." - Holly…

Harmony At Enterprise

12000 Traditions Boulevard, Bowie, MD, 20720

"Harmony may look nice, but they are intentionally misleading and do not truly care about your loved one. To them, residents are just a number and a check. If your loved one needs anything above Level 2 care, look elsewhere — you will not receive proper help with major needs. They will nickel-and-dime you for every little thing on top of what you already pay, and treat your loved one like a burden instead of a human being." - Jospeh…

Seabury At Springvale Terrace

From $2,367/mo

8505 Springvale Road, Silver Spring, MD, 20910
Assisted Living, Independent Living

"Unfortunately, we had an awful experience with the staff and administration when we moved my 82 year old father with mild/mod dementia into the assisted living. They were totally unprepared to care for him and irresponsibly reassured us that they could. We had delayed and minimal responses to our concerns about how often they checked on him (he was wheelchair bound), how he was adjusting, and any issues. We noticed he was more agitated, and after a couple of months, they said they felt he should move. Of course, we quickly moved him, as we had no trust that they could take care of anyone, much less our loved one, with any quality care. And I am a healthcare professional, so it was extremely disheartening to see how poorly the residents, at least our father, was cared for. I was not surprised when I soon learned they were closing. Hopefully the next establishment will be better staffed and run." - Sara…
