It’s ridiculous that every three months I go up to visit and there are new people to meet in the front office. This a very big concern to me. I wish someone would give the residents an explanation. "Unfortunately, we had an awful experience with the staff and administration when we moved my 82 year old father with mild/mod dementia into the assisted living. They were totally unprepared to care for him and irresponsibly reassured us that they could. We had delayed and minimal responses to our concerns about how often they checked on him (he was wheelchair bound), how he was adjusting, and any issues. We noticed he was more agitated, and after a couple of months, they said they felt he should move. Of course, we quickly moved him, as we had no trust that they could take care of anyone, much less our loved one, with any quality care. And I am a healthcare professional, so it was extremely disheartening to see how poorly the residents, at least our father, was cared for. I was not surprised when I soon learned they were closing.
