"I have elderly parents! My dad is 92 and mom 86. My dad broke his leg back in December last year. He started in rehab then moved to assisted living. He is just learning to walk again after 13 weeks. My mom has had some health issues since he's been gone so I knew before he could be released to come home that I needed to act fast with finding a place for their next chapter. I reached out on the website A place for mom and Adair called me instantly to get me into Forsyth Court last Saturday. My cousin went with me and what a wonderful place. We walked in and smelled popcorn, I love popcorn! We met with Janice, she took us into an office then asked if we would like to have lunch so we said yes. I'm so glad, the food was great, we sat with lovely ladies. After lunch Janice took us on a tour. What a beautiful place! I felt like I was home. "FACILITY! If I could give it a -10 stars that's what they deserve! They are liars and thieves! My friend's 1 bedroom apartment was $3700 per month and that was one of the less expensive ones. For that you get 1 meal per day, transportation to Dr appointments two days a week, light housekeeping every other week (we were told that would be once a week) and activities geared toward 90 year old residents. He is 67 and has no interest in bingo or any of those other activities. Employee turnover is unbelievable! THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL NEWER FACILITY! DO NOT LET THAT ATTRACT YOU! They are liars, incompetent and most employees and managers are rude and liars. There's so much more information about this horrible experience but this review is long enough. We finally finished getting him out of there December 30th 2024! "This was my first choice for an assisted living facility and I’m glad I chose them. The staff is first rate. They simply care - and you can’t find that in the glossy brochure. They give not only the medical care you would expect, but the staff genuinely cares and loves on the residents. They took both my parents into a suite and kept my Dad, WELL beyond when he should have probably been in a nursing home - just to keep the two of them together. After 66 years together, my dad passed earlier this year. The staff closest to them were in tears right there beside the family. I think that statement speaks volumes.
