"My parents have resided at Riverview since April 2022 and we are very happy with the facility and the staff. They are considered "independent" but we can arrange for either regular or "ad hoc" services as needed - housekeeping, meds, laundry, etc. They are on the meal plan for dinner every night and the food is quite good. A few months after moving in, we signed dad up for assistance with meds, so a nurse visits them once per day to drop off the pills for that day. "The memory care unit is large.and looks nice from the outside. Many times when I would visit, the workers would be on their phones in groups instead of looking out for the residents. One time, I was there and found dried feces on many chairs in the sun room. I guess no one wanted to clean them, so the chairs were set aside or pushed into the table so another worker could clean them but didn’t. For the price of memory care, I would expect a clean and diligent staff to look out for my beloved family member. I was very disappointed.
