Most staff are kind and attentive, meeting my father’s basic needs: he is cared for, fed, bathed, and dressed. Because he is quiet and has severe dementia, he doesn’t wander or have outbursts like some other residents. However, there are ongoing issues with room privacy and cleanliness. My father's room door is almost always open, allowing other residents to wander in and out and resulting in missing items. Despite a sign posted, it remains open. Cleanliness is inconsistent-sometimes the room is quite dirty and must be specifically requested to be cleaned, which should not be necessary. Physical comfort and safety are also concerns. My father is often found sliding down in his wheelchair, feet not elevated, appearing uncomfortable. Since he doesn’t make noise, these issues go unnoticed. He fell out of the chair once- this was unnecessary. A nice place, but go frequently to visit your loved one and make sure concerns don't fall on deaf ears.
