"I knew right away this was the place for my mom. The exterior is much like her home of 60 years. With a lovely orchard and lovely grounds, the facility has a warm open feeling and the owner and staff are kind and caring. There’s no bustling about or craziness, or hospital smell, just a peaceful and calm environment. Mom settled in nicely and she continues to feel more at ease as time goes along. She is now getting the personal care that she needs and is quite happy. While I might have had anxiety wondering if things were ok for her at the beginning, she is getting the nutrition she needs and becoming more active and engaging with folks. I can tell she doesn’t feel so alone any more. We ordered some slip on tennis shoes so she can manage to get up and about the facility. Feeling thankful that De Un Amor is here for her. We regularly sit outside or wheel around outside on sunny days. It’s a lovely place. The owner and staff have their hearts in the care of everyone there.
