"It looks like a nice facility, but their memory care section was an awful experience for my family in an already vulnerable time. They advertised a packed schedule of activities, but after my dad moved in, we realized that was just marketing. No activities. Activities are actually really important for people like my dad, with FTD, because he was antsy and agitated. He tried to escape, resisted care, and was generally kind of difficult - classic dementia symptoms, mind you - so they told my mom she'd need to hire a full-time caregiver on top of everything. That was supposed to be the reason for bringing him to a live-in memory care facility. We weren't just parking him there to get rid of him.
