"I will soon be 83 and have lived at Traditions at Salona for one year. My husband died one month after we moved into one of their cottage homes and I am thankful we got settled into our new retirement routine. Salona is definitely the right place for me at this time in my life. Every evening I go over to the dining room for my dinner. There I have formed many wonderful friendships and we all have a lot in common. I am able to keep my dog (my best friend) and walk her every evening -- it is nice to have sidewalks around the building and the view of White River. It is also nice to have everything taken care of and groups and classes of all kinds - Book clubs, Bingo, Exercise classes, outings of every kind and my favorite -- musicians that come in and play the piano or guitar and sing our favorite songs from the past. I also appreciate the guys who mow the grass and trim and treat the landscaping (they are even nice!) I am grateful!!" - Judy…

1790 East 54th Street, Indianapolis, IN, 46220
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living

"My 94 year old mother has been a resident of Lincoln Lodge for the last 2 years. She loves it! Our family is impressed with the cleanliness, the friendly staff, the beautiful campus, and the home like environment. We love it! Mom struggled at first, with the idea and process of moving from her home of 60 years, she had shared with my Dad before his death. She had never lived in an apartment on her own. My siblings and I were worried about Mom's continued safety living on her own without Dad. The staff were so helpful by letting Mom and the rest of the family tour the beautiful facility prior to moving in. Our questions were patiently answered by staff. Mom tells the family how pleased she is with her apartment. She has made a number of friends. She enjoys the activities. The staff is friendly, patient, and thoughtful. Staff are skilled, efficient, and seem to enjoy the seniors. Based on my family's experience, we highly recommend this facility." - Sandra…

Restoracy of Carmel

From $5,400/mo

616 Green House Way, Carmel, IN, 46032
Memory Care, Nursing Home

"i was given information about Restoracy from a friend who believed it would be a perfect fit for my Mom. I called to get information about the facility but I was greeted by a very surly sounding individual. Immediately I was given the impression that my Mom was not welcome. I waited a week to hear from them and then when they finally called, I was very rudely informed that they would not take my Mom. Now, if you knew my Mom, she has to be the sweetest lady out there. I couldn't imagine WHY she wouldn't be welcome. The person on the phone informed me, "We can't take her because we were told she is manipulative and a liar!" Well, she probably is a little of both. She's very dramatic and always wants everyone to be happy with each other so I think she manipulates things so as not to hurt anyone's feelings. Please tell me what 91 year old person without dementia doesn't turn stories around to make everyone happy! The way we were informed was very hurtful and disappointing." - Laurel…
