"Unfortunately our experience at Storypoint Abbott has been quite disappointing. While the facility appeared nice, we encountered problems with management and directors of the facility. We got lots of promises and we can do that and we have that and none of it happened, no one is on the same page even when they are in the same room they can’t agree. . Staff is unprofessional. The rates they charge are ridiculous for what they offer. When asked to lower the price they say they can charge that much because they have a waiting list. When compared to other facilities (even owned by the same company) they charge 2-3 thousand dollars more per month. Prospective families should be aware and ask specific questions and get it documented. The reality did not live up to the promises that were made. Just not worth the pain and heartache. "Rosewood AFC was a wonderful facility to provide care for my wife with advancing Alzheimer’s. She received TLC by the Rosewood team for about two years - before she transitioned to be with her Lord. The family had originally tried having my wife in a larger ’corporate’ setting it was NOT a good match! Their care was more than questionable !! After two months of living in a corporate memory care Rosewood had a rare opening. The difference (at Rosewood) of living in a smaller community - surrounded by individuals who really loved caring - in a much smaller, 'family- like’ setting was night ’n day almost immediately for my wife! She loved the easy access of the outdoor deck, enjoying flowers, birds and walking in the atrium area! We spent many hours together enjoying the deck area. Meals were good.
