Rivertown Ridge

From $5,400/mo

3555 Copper River Avenue Southwest, Wyoming, MI, 49418
Assisted Living, Memory Care, Independent Living

"While this facility is beautiful and well maintained, the management has been extremely difficult to work with. After my mom passed away -married for 63 yrs, my dad moved back to MI which is his home. He was placed on respite care to try it out. You can imagine the loss he was feeling and moving out of his home. He does have early dementia but with the stress of life changes, those symptoms increase. After 6 weeks, the staff is forcing us to move him to memory care, even though another facility said he is not ready for this, he just needed more time to adjust. My dad is finally starting to reengage. The current staff is disorganized, not communicating well or being honest. They are not living up to the level of care on their website. Shame on this management for not being patient, compassionate or caring of the life changes he is going through! This is not the first review like this I came across, others have the same experience." - Dee…

Railside Assisted Living Center

From $5,500/mo

7955 Byron Center Avenue Sw, Byron Center, MI, 49315
Assisted Living, Memory Care

"I find my mom in memory care. I have indicated to the memory manager with my moms dementia they cannot ask her if she want a meal or go to the bathroom, they have to TELL her its time to eat or go to the bathroom. If asked her answer will always be no. My only problem is not all caretakers either havent been told or dont remember that directive. Hence one comes in to ask her if she has to go to the bathroom, shes says no and the caretaker is barely 1 step out of the room and she cries out she has to go to the bathroom which is frustrating for everyone. I suggest getting Faith Hospice or someone similar for additional care. Its not end of life, its life maintenance. Different than most conceptions of hospice care. Railside can make recommendations and tell you who they work with. Otherwise im satisfied with Railside." - Gerald…
