Their response was quite misleading because the staff is grossly understaffed. Within two weeks of him being there, his care level allegedly increased and my family was asked to pay more for additional care that he never received. We brought in two additional outside aides to the facility to offset his care. He arrived at the facility wound free, but within three months he developed over a dozen pressure sores. He transitioned to hospice and was given a 30 day discharge notice because his care needs became too great for the facility despite developing the wounds in the facility and was hospice was treating the wounds.
