"The staff is amazing, the management is not. They are completely out of touch with what is going happening on the floor. The management is comfortable in their jobs and do not have to do the hard stuff, especially when they are sitting in their office or behind the desk all day. My mother transitioned into her final days Thanksgiving week. My sister and I live far away and were calling and calling and no answered or call back to us from Bluffview for 24 hours. They are not supposed to have aggressive patients and in that final week they moved an aggressive man (So aggressive the police had to come at one point) next to my mom's room who we discovered kept going into her room. At one point when I went to take a Facetime to update a family member about my mom, this man approached me from behind and hit me and was yelling at me.
