"This place had a COVID outbreak and our Medicare insurance provider stated that the facility did not disclose the outbreak when my father, a stroke, patient was transferred there. When we visited the facility, we noticed patients left out in the hallway, and there was a lack of privacy in the room because they had three patients in one room and my father's bed was right by the door. The ventilation system was full of cobwebs and dust, the drawer where my father's belongings were stored had red stains, and the place seemed very dirty. I spoke to the administrator and he stated that 54 patients had COVID out of 231 patients. The place seemed understaffed and the administrator seemed to have very poor communication with the staff. The administrator stated that he would conduct an investigation regarding the COVID disclosure. I wrote him an email and I still haven't heard from him.
