"My mother lived at Amber Woods for about two years before she passed. It was the cleanest nursing home that I have ever seen. One day, I came upon a worker washing the inside walls of the elevator!! Also, there were absolutely NO odors usually present in nursing homes. The lovely dining room has cloth napkins in the water glass and centerpieces on each table. The staff treated my mother with respect. We never had a bad experience with anyone there. They called her by name and they became her friends. The meeting room is beautiful. They played games several times a week. There were craft activities also on their weekly calendar. People could watch a large TV or read books from their library.
