Cityview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
"My advice is to go and visit this place before you put a loved one in here. My mother was at Cityview for a week, and I was desperate to get her out. Although the nursing staff were mostly good, they were severely understaffed. There are buttons for patients to push when they need help, but it takes a very long time to get a response. I saw at least three patients wandering up and down the hall, holding their diapers, looking for someone to help. When she left, my mother had an open wound on her lower back from lying in a wet diaper day after day. The food is not good, and there is not much of it. I don't know why, but it is extremely noisy in the evenings. This made it very difficult to sleep. It is an old-fashioned nursing home, and that is not good. One last thing, the facility sent intake papers to be signed only after we informed them that my mother would be leaving. If you have a loved one here, just remember to be present often! Patients with vigilant families get better care." - Sherrie…
