"My husband recently died of Parkinson’s disease. For the last 5 years he lived at a board and care home. His home, originally called L’Chaim House and now under new management and named Gentle Home Care at 463 Nova Albion Way, was such a remarkable find. My husband couldn’t have had better care and because he had frequent falls the staff watched him like a hawk to keep him safe. They always made great food and the house was always spotless …his bedding and clothes were always clean. I can’t recommend this board and care enough. It is a difficult decision to place a loved one in such a home but they gave my husband the best care possible.
