Sunrise Of Wilton, Image 1

Sunrise Of Wilton

From $7,691/mo

211 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT, 06897
Assisted Living, Memory Care

"My experience with Sunrise is that it’s a corporation. Corporations try to maximize profit. How do they do this? Well, salespeople blatantly lie and/or leave out facts. For example, you might be told there is a 10 mile radius that a driver will take you to. What they don’t tell you is that the driver is barely there. Monday-Thursday until 4pm only. Sure, that helps some folks, but certainly doesn’t help all residents. Then there’s the food situation. Just about every resident complains about the food. Food quality has declined significantly since it first opened, as has the service. The food is warm, almost never hot. If you want more, sorry, but that’s another entree so you can’t have that. Good help is hard to come by and either Sunrise doesn’t value their help, or they don’t have the budget to keep good help. Management needs to step back and reevaluate the situation. They are heading down a path that will leave them with an empty building. Beautiful community though." - Honest…

Benchmark at Ridgefield Crossings

From $6,750/mo

640 Danbury Road, Ridgefield, CT, 06877
Assisted Living, Memory Care

"My mother has been a resident here for the past two years. If I stack the cost against all of it, the care is decent, the place itself is also decent. However, be aware the costs they charge to be here go up every year, and not by a little. This January 2025 they raised the combined cost of her place and care by 10% from last year (with no change in level of care). While I understand costs are rising everywhere a 10% increase year over year is an exorbitant amount. This is well beyond any typical increase that follows the inflation rate, etc. The company has their pre-written explanations for the increases but I don't buy it. This feels like the rest of our healthcare system. Pass the cost onto the consumer while they make their high profits. Hopefully this is helpful to anyone doing their research on an assisted living facility. I contacted them regarding this and was referred to their director. I left her a message and heard nothing back." - Pete…
