"My mom was in this facility and is now moving out due to the complete lack of care provided, especially considering the cost. For over $6,000 a month, you would expect a certain standard of service they claim to provide—but that could not be further from reality. My mom entered with dementia that was still mild; she was independent and did not need memory care. We paid for a room, cleaning service, and medication dispensing. Yet her room was consistently dark, dingy, and NEVER cleaned. The entire facility often smelled of urine. After repeated complaints about the filth, nothing changed—I eventually bought my own supplies and cleaned her room and bathroom myself. Even worse, as my mom’s dementia progressed, the staff NEVER communicated with us about her episodes or what was happening. How can a facility responsible for people’s loved ones fail to notify families about their care and wellbeing? "Don’t send your love one here there’s no staffing no med techs any staff is passing out medication that’s not certified most of the staff are on drugs . Residents are not getting showers or ADL’s there’s no activity for the residents. There’s no facility nurse the food is horrible and they don’t get healthy snacks if snacks at all . The facility has roaches in resident rooms and beds . Third shift leaves in the middle of there shift and there’s not a med tech most of the nights most of the residents have falls on third shift because of staff is on drugs or sleeping on duty. They hire anyone off the streets.The residents clothes are being stolen and they don’t wash the residents clothes with proper sanitation detergent . "Based on the experience of my family, multiple people in the office here appear to be untrustworthy and dishonest. When trying to move a resident out to a different home they claimed they never received necessary paperwork despite having had it since the move-in date, and delayed producing or completing paperwork which caused unnecessary delays (while they charged daily for residence). They put on a good show to make a good first impression, but their memory care unit is not handled well by the office. The actual staff that do the work are good people doing what they can, but perhaps the office is too busy having to pay off the fines they owe the state government from their many citations that they don't have the funds to properly care for or give the residents any activities to do. Maybe it's an issue of having too little staff, but they certainly receive plenty of money to pay plenty of people to do the necessary work. "Staff say different things about care and services. There is no orientation for the family to ask questions. Main staff seems incompetent. They don’t answer emails, phone calls, etc. They say that they’ll do something, but don’t. Not professional. Very disappointed. Food is not good. Seems to have turnover with caregivers.
